- Travis and I have been married for 5 years. Last year, the day after our 4th Anniversary, our baby girl, Grayton (yes, after the beach) was born. Unbeknownst to us, Grayton had a defect known as congential diaphragmatic hernia, or CDH. This means there was a hole in her diaphram (on the right side) that allowed her intestines, as well as liver, to move and sit on top of her lungs, thus not allowing her lungs to develop properly. (to find out more about CHD, go to www.cdhsupport.org) Immediately, she was rushed to Children's Hospital of Birmingham where they took excellent care of her the 6 weeks she was with us. As one can imagine, Travis and my life (as well as that of our family and friends) was a complete rollercoaster. However, although we miss her more than anyone can imagine, we are blessed to be expecting her baby brother on September 17th.

He is so cute !!!! The only thing missing is an LSU onsie !!! OK I will have to send one :) LOL !!!!!!
